Methamphetamine is an illegal, highly addictive stimulant narcotic. Methamphetamine is also known by a variety of ‘street’ names including ice, crystal, crank or glass, and is usually smoked, swallowed, snorted, injected or absorbed. This particular drug is especially dangerous because It is relatively easy to produce using a variety of methods and the materials used are toxic, caustic, corrosive, flammable, and explosive. Properties which have been used to cook methamphetamine, or which have had methamphetamine smoked inside them are at risk of contaminated with these dangerous chemicals. These chemicals will embed on porous surfaces and place the occupants at serious health risk.
